- While firmly criticizing the Russian Federation investigation, President Donald Trump was non-committal on whether he would agree to a possible interview with the U.S. Justice Department's special counsel Robert Mueller. Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday to slam the various investigations focused on the allegations of collusion between his campaign and the Russian government.

Burck, co-managing partner at the firm Quinn Emanuel, is also representing other key members of Trump's campaign and White House staff, including former chief of staff Reince Priebus and White House Counsel Donald McGahn.

President Trump praised Norway's prime minister in a tweet on Wednesday after Erna Solberg became the first foreign leader to visit with the president in 2018.

"I wish we'd do some of that". Certainly I'll see what happens. "Three in four Republicans, 74 percent, say it's likely Trump will be cleared of wrongdoing in the Russian Federation probe this year".

"It has been determined there is no collusion", Trump said, making another false claim, as there is in fact substantial evidence supporting the conclusion that collusion occurred.

Trump called the investigation a "phony cloud" over his administration.

Solberg echoed the President's sentiments about their increased economic cooperation, which includes the purchase of US military jets.

Trump made an example of Hillary Clinton, his former political opponent, who was not placed under oath when she was interviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the summer of 2016 in her email case. "Hillary Clinton had an interview where she wasn't sworn in". She wasn't given the oath.

'They didn't take notes. They didn't record. It was done on the 4th of July weekend. Trump incorrectly asserted that the Federal Bureau of Investigation agents interviewing Clinton didn't take notes - they did - and asserted "a lot of people looked upon that as being a very serious breach and it really was".

Solberg said she appreciated the work with the United States, pointing out that the country is Norway's one of the closest ally in North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. The president, notably, didn't rule out all collusion.

White House has continued to dismiss Mueller investigation as a "hoax".

"We'll see what happens", Trump said, regarding a potential interview with Mueller.
