Action continues Thursday. Among those scheduled to compete are 2017 Truck Series champ Christopher Bell, C.J. Leary in a vehicle owned by Cup driver Alex Bowman, and Tanner Thorson in a auto that features the partnership of Richard Childress Racing and Dooling Hayward Motorsports.

Bell will get the chance to defend his Chili Bowl Midget Nationals title Saturday as he dominated his qualifying night Thursday at the Tulsa Expo Center, Bob Pockrass of ESPN reports. All three drivers were in Toyotas, and Larson won his fourth preliminary feature win at the Chili Bowl - tying him with the late. The 2015 and 2016 victor also won his heat race and qualifier as 85 cars contested the second of four nights of preliminaries.

Kevin Thomas finished third.

Five-time victor Sammy Swindell charged from seventh to take fourth and earn a spot up front in one of Saturday's B Mains while USAC sprint champ Chris Windom came home fifth and is also slated for a good staring spot in the B.

The Chili Bowl features more than 350 entries racing for one of the 24 openings in Saturday night's feature. There have been no reported injuries.
