Dark Souls PS4 Remaster Coming In May 2018

The US version of the Bandai Namco Store initially included information on a "50% loyalty discount reward for PC upgrades on Steam", namely for those that own the Prepare to Die Edition of the original game. Just a year ago, series creator Hidetaki Miyazaki said that the Souls-series was complete after the release of the Ringed City DLC. A rumor has surfaced that Dark Souls Remastered PS4 Release Date has leaked and we very much want that to be true, take this with a grain of salt but be hopeful to embark on your quest (again hopefully) into the land of Lordran, remastered for the PS4 now. Bandai Namco has confirmed the same by publishing a trailer. A press release for the game says that it will be upscaled for 4K resolution with 60 fps for the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. While the Switch version could conceivably address that level of difficulty by toning it down, somehow we suspect that Dark Souls Remastered will be just as hard to master as the original.

This comes after a leak earlier today that seemed to suggest the game was also coming to PS4.

Even with no major changes, I'm still eager to get a definitive version of Dark Souls. Despite the fact that is being ported to Nintendo, Dark Souls Remastered will be available for all other platforms. Online multiplayer for Dark Souls: Remastered will feature an increase with support for up to six players. It was ported to PC in 2012.

Are you excited to play Dark Souls again?
