Dark Souls Remaster- May 25thThis was the big one.

Super Mario Odyssey and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle fans have some new content to look forward to as well.

Even better, Mario Tennis Aces will be the first Mario Tennis game since the Game Boy Advance Tennis titles to incorporate a story mode. Today's much anticipated Nintendo Direct Mini offered up a slew of games, many of those games being ports. Right now, in their Eshop, there are two free demos you can try: Kirby Battle Royale on 3DS and Dragon Quest Builders on Switch.

One of the Wii U's more divisive games, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is headed to Nintendo Switch.

Of course, that wasn't everything in the Nintendo Direct announcement. Basically, it means that head-to-head pricing with the Nintendo Switch proves that the PS4 can't compete. No exact release date has been given yet, but the game will arrive this spring. Nintendo had kept that point a bit of a question mark last year, choosing instead to focus on its current crop of games, but the legendary game-maker just unleashed its lineup for the early months of the year.

"Nintendo Switch is the fastest-selling home console in history, and Nintendo is not taking our foot off the gas in 2018", said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of sales and marketing, in a statement.

The forthcoming DLC will also bring three new costumes for Mario: Knight Helmet, Sunshine Shades, and Musician Hat, plus their respective outfits.

For fans of fighting games, there is a little something here for you, too. This includes a few new games as well as ports from older Wii U titles.

Payday 2Popular 4vE crime shooter Payday 2 is on its way to the Nintendo Switch with a host of brand new content. Like previous games in the franchise, "Tropical Freeze" puts Donkey Kong and the rest of his family through a perilous adventure across dozens of gorgeous, brilliantly crafted 2D levels. As you can see above, the game is presented by none other than Luigi - Mario's famous brother who didn't appear in "Odyssey". Nintendo will release the game in Spring 2018.

There's also a wealth of Switch games coming in 2018 that are not console-exclusives, so be sure to check out those games as well.
