According to a press release, Dark Souls Remastered is being developed by From Software, the studio behind the original trilogy, instead of being outsourced to a third-party studio.

The PC version will be native 4K60 with PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X being able to upscale to 4K. The game will also feature multiplayer support for up to six concurrent players.

During today's long-rumored, yet brief, Nintendo Direct-called a Nintendo Direct Mini-Bandai Namco revealed developer From Software's first Switch title. That doesn't mean a change in game engine is out of the question, but this will look pretty similar to the version of Dark Souls we already know.

Dark Souls Remastered will come with improved resolution and other visual upgrades for the port. "Also, 1080p resolution with 30FPS is available when playing the game on Nintendo Switch with its TV mode".

According to the Twitter user, Sassy, who posted a picture proof on his/her Twitter account suggesting that an online retailer has leaked Dark Souls PS4 Remaster. This will be the first time Dark Souls will be given the remastered treatment, updating the game not only for the PC but for current generation consoles. Do you want this rumor to be true? The box set will include all three Dark Souls games, each respective game's soundtrack, framed art, Dark Souls' themed bookends, and three dictionaries containing the entirety of Dark Souls' item list.
