Police in Maypearl, Texas, said that, before her husband turned up dead, Sandra Louise Garner, 55, looked for "how to kill someone and not get caught" on a device they found in her home, according to the Star-Telegram.

According to a statement from police, Sandra Garner claimed the man told her he had no issue with her and was at the home because he had a work-related "grudge against her husband".

Chief Norton says that Sandra called 911 on the night of her husband's murder, explaining, "Ms. Garner told investigators she was awakened by two gunshots and saw a masked male holding a gun and a flashlight inside her residence", per a report from Paris Extra.

Sandra Garner was arrested and charged with murder after police found a chilling internet search on her computer.

A Maypearl, Texas, woman is facing some serious legal trouble after she was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of murdering her husband, and the details of the case are as dumb as it gets.

The woman said she was forced to open a home safe, give the man about $18,000, and then go into a bathroom and count to 100.

She also told authorities that the masked intruder told her he was not there to harm her, but that if he heard police sirens, he would return to the house and kill her. Police believe the weapon had been placed in the vehicle after they performed their first search on January 2. It was wrapped in a paper towel and two plastic bags, the Dallas Morning News reported.

Police said that after analysing several electronic devices, one belonging to Garner contained an internet search for "how to kill someone and not get caught". Police have not revealed a motive for the crime. Jon worked for DHL as their General Manager. Between that and the pistol found in the vehicle, police arrested Garner on Wednesday and charged her with the murder of her husband.
