■Stanley Johnson (hip flexor) played in Thursday's win in Brooklyn but missed the Bulls game because of another issue with the injury. Another seemingly effortless offensive game.

"One was at 7 [p.m.]", he said.

Goran Dragic had 22 points and nine assists in a loss that snapped a seven-game winning streak for the Heat, who won at the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.

Lauri Markkanen led the Bulls with 19 points in the win over Detroit.

T.J. McConnell added a career-high 18 points and eight assists and JJ Redick scored 15 before leaving with a left leg injury for the Sixers, who never trailed and shook off Ben Simmons' foul trouble to win for the fifth time in six games. The Bulls are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games, 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games playing on 1 days rest and 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall.

"A lot of long nights", LaVine said. "Right now, we're rolling".

"I'm still a little exhausted, a little winded, but I feel good", LaVine said. But whatever happens, happens. Nobody tries to lose, including coach Fred Hoiberg, who also leaves the trade decisions to that higher pay grade. We didn't get the job done. "Our guys continue to give great effort". We're not talking about what's at stake.

"It feels like we're playing at home, so it was a good atmosphere for us", Kristaps Porzingis said.

With the way Markkanen keeps shooting from beyond the arc, he's on pace to make 200 3-pointers this year, which will be the rookie record.

"Just [him] being there is a huge confidence for us", Bulls forward said. "He looks so fast out there".

And they did it against a Miami Heat team that came into this game the #3 seed in the Eastern Conference.

LaVine sank his first two shots, including a 3-pointer, and scored seven points in his opening stint of 4:23.

"I'm sure it's a relief for him to get this night over". Needless to say, the afternoon did not go as planned. I think it made me a better person, a better player.

So is Mirotic, who kicked a towel along the baseline in frustration over his 1-for-6 start.

Prior to Markkanen's big night against Miami, Golden State Warriors spitfire point guard Stephen Curry held the record for fastest to 100 treys, doing it in his first 58 games in the National Basketball Association. "I have to credit my teammates".

"I'm frustrated; I just couldn't get in a rhythm". The team is winning. I thought he played very effective and efficient.
