Major League Soccer's SuperDraft, always a crapshoot, is more complicated than ever this year.

Now without a selection in the second and third rounds, Sporting KC holds the No. 75 and No. 82 overall picks in the fourth and final round.

When the trade was announced Friday at the MLS draft in Philadelphia, the Union's Sons of Ben supporters group chanted "Thank You Earnie!" in a nod to the team's sporting director Earnie Stewart.

The United then traded $150,000 in TAM for Montreal's seventh pick and took Indiana's attacking midfielder Mason Toye.

The Rapids have the 4th pick of the third round (50th overall) and the 3rd and 4th picks of the fourth round (72nd and 73rd overall).

Vancouver has the 17th pick and reigning MLS Cup champion Toronto FC has the 23rd pick.

Sigi Schmid and the LA Galaxy hold the second and 40 overall selections in Friday's SuperDraft at the Philadelphia Convention Center.

Rounds three and four of the SuperDraft will take place on Sunday, January 21 via conference call.
