Woody Allen alleges Dylan Farrow is cynically using the Time's Up movement

On January 18, 2018, Dylan Farrow granted her first televised interview with CBS This Morning, where she discussed the alleged sexual abuse she endured at the hands of her adopted father Woody Allen.

"But even though the Farrow family is cynically using the opportunity afforded by the Time's Up movement to repeat this discredited allegation, that doesn't make it any more true today than it was in the past".

Brosnahan added, "Honestly, it's the decision that I have made in my life that is the most inconsistent with everything I stand for and believe in, both publicly and privately". It is Dylan Farrow's word and her word alone that has accused Woody Allen of being a sexual predator and pedophile.

"I never molested my daughter - as all investigations concluded a quarter of a century ago", he added.

During the interview with CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King, Dylan retold the abuse and said that Woody Allen was lying when he denied sexually assaulting her.

"With so much silence being broken by so many courageous people against so many high-profile people, I felt it was important to add my story to theirs because it's something I've struggled with for a long time", Farrow said.

Now a 32-year-old married mother of a young girl, Farrow said in retrospect she wished the case had gone to trial.

She explained that she'd told her mother about the alleged assault and was brought to her pediatrician.

A CT state prosecutor at the time found probable cause to charge Allen but thought Farrow too fragile to face a celebrity trial.

While Allen has consistently denied her claims, Dylan has never given up in her bid to prove the director's alleged guilt, and recently started to take aim at actors who have worked with her estranged father.

"He was always touching me, cuddling me and if I ever said, you know, like I want to go off by myself, he wouldn't let me", she told CBS. Mr Allen claimed she had been angry "during a contentious break-up".

"What I don't understand is how is this insane story of me being brainwashed and coached more believable than what I'm saying about being sexually assaulted by my father?" hit back Farrow.

Despite a growing number of Hollywood stars speaking out against Woody Allen, Alec Baldwin has spoken out to defend the director.

A number of Allen collaborators have spoken out against their previous work with the director in recent months. Greta Gerwig and Ellen Page both expressed regret for starring in To Rome with Love, while co-stars Timothée Chalamet and Rebecca Hall have pledged to donate their earnings from Allen's upcoming film A Rainy Day in NY to Time's Up and other charities.

Also, Lorde's been linked to the producer of her latest album, Jack Antonoff - but they're denying it. "And that they are enough to change things", she said.
