'Bharat ke Veer' portal raises Rs 12.93 crore

Addressing at the inauguration of "Bharat Ke Veer" graphic novel series on assassination Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) soldiers, the Union Minister stated, "Whatever we do for the families of defence casualties, it will always be less". "No matter how much monetary fund we provide, you'll agree with me that Manushya ki zindagi ko paise ke aadhar par uski keemat nhi aaki jaa sakti", he added.

He said the people of this country have pledged their support to initiative in large numbers. I just feel there is no greater cause than working for the welfare of the families of our fearless soldiers. "We look forward to continuing our collaboration with "Bharat ke Veer" initiative in every possible manner". Those who have a big heart are the real rich people. The event was attended by the Hon'ble Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh along with both the Ministers of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju and Hansraj Gangaram Ahir. We managed to raise Rs. 12.93 crore (till) today.

A tremendous amount of more than Rs 13 crore was raised with the participation and contribution from celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Kailash Kher and Corporates Houses. And now, Khiladi Kumar was present at the Teen Murti Bhawan in Delhi for the launch of an anthem for the Bharat Ke Veer website, an initiative to transfer money directly into the bank accounts of the next kin of martyred of Indian soldiers.
