UP cops abandon accident victims to die on road

The Entire Police Conversation Was Recorded by Someone and Vidoe Uploaded in Social Media Which is Going viral, two teenagers lay bleeding on the road with three policemen just standing around doing nothing.

"They are also somebody's children. I request you", an acquaintance of one of the two teenagers is heard pleading to the policemen, NDTV reported.

"Nobody else has a auto here". They (the three cops) are already under suspension.

Someone from the accident scene was heard saying to the cops that the vehicle could be washed.

According to an India Today report, one of the bystanders, who was trying to help the victims, was heard saying, "Sir, your vehicle will get washed but please open the door".

As the cops, whose insensitivity is clearly seen in the video, continue to wait at the spot without rendering any help, in the background a few men are seen trying to flag down other passing vehicles.

According to The Times of India, two 15-year-old boys succumbed to their wounds after police personnel from "UP Dial 100", the state's emergency management system, refused to take them to a hospital. Once at the spot, the cops refused to take the victims to hospital as the blood of the victims would soil their new vehicle. On arrival at a hospital, the boys were declared "brought dead" by the doctors.

Though the UP police is known for their insensitiveness, in a fresh incident their callousness has claimed two lives.

"We have taken exemplary action against the three cops". We can not tolerate the kind of inhuman treatment that was meted out to those in dire need of help.

People kept on requesting cops but they did not budge an inch. Singh said it is the first and foremost duty of the police to take such injured to the hospital and the cops can not refuse to take them for medical treatment under any circumstances.
