Man killed in halting site shooting linked to Kinahan/Hutch feud

A man in his 20s has been shot dead in Dublin this afternoon.

Two passengers that were sitting in the vehicle with the driver were left unharmed by the attack, however, their driver was shot dead.

Three men went to the Bridgeview halting site in Clondalkin at around 3pm in a white auto.

He died at the scene.

A black VW Golf, believed to have been the getaway auto for the murderer was found burnt out in a nearby industrial estate in Ronanstown.

Gardaí are now at the scene of a shooting incident at Bridgeview Halting Site on Cloverhill Road.


According to RTE, there are initial indications that the murder could be related to the ongoing Hutch/Kinahan feud.

Gardai are investigating whether a runner shoe found at the scene is connected to the gunman.

Gardaí at Ronanstown Garda Station have appealed for information.

Emerging reports suggest that a second person is also injured, but this has yet to be confirmed.
