The internet went agog on Friday after Aisha Buhari, wife of Nigeria's president shared videos of senators criticising her husband's government.

Those who criticised the President in the videos included Senator Isah Misau and Senator Ben Bruce.

Senator Murray-Bruce, who represents Bayelsa East Senatorial District, was reacting to Aisha's boldness in reposting some videos where he (Murray-Bruce), and another lawmaker representing Bauchi-Central at the Senate, Senator Isa Misau, separately condemned the Buhari administration on the floor of the Senate.

Senator Bruce had in the video clip slammed President Buhari for having allegedly turned Nigeria into a lawless country by not tackling pressing national issues. "Today we are seeing it and everybody is avoiding it, nobody wants to say anything", Misau said in the video.

Misau had also angrily submitted that Pres. Buhari has barely three months to right a plethora of wrongs and registered his suspicion that "it's as if the president is not in charge".

Buhari had on January 10 approved the appointment of Ahmed Rufai Abubakar as the substantive Director-General for the NIA. Others even urged her to join politics.

According to Murray-Bruce, Aisha does not belong to "the other room", as the President once dismissed the First Lady over her allegation that a cabal had hijacked her husband's government.

She said those who "caged" her husband did not even vote for him and that she feared they might cause him the anger of ordinary Nigerians.

Buhari, who was in Germany while Aisha raised the alarm in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation, had said he did not know which political party his wife belonged but he knew she belonged to "the kitchen, the living room and the other room".
