Man shot in the knee outside grocery store in SE Houston

Two other residents were in a bedroom in the apartment unit at the time of the shooting, police said.

According to police, the suspect shot the victim during an argument for unknown reasons.

Houston police said suspects in a tan auto opened fire on two men standing next to their vehicles in the parking lot. Gunshots rang out outside the Payless Super Market around 3 the 6900 block of MLK Boulevard.

Witnesses said the incident followed a confrontation with two black males, during which the shooting suspects fired upon Le multiple times. The grocery store remained open Saturday afternoon, an employee said.
