So Arsene Wenger wants to complete his signing before the tournament in Russian Federation begins.

The Gunners have been spending very heavily on their front line despite both fans and critics suggesting that they should be upgrading their back-line.

Fekir, who scored in Lyon's 3-1 victory over Villarreal in the Europa League on Thursday, is said to have impressed Wenger and the Gunners' scouts with his performances this term.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is prepared to spend a fee of around £45m in order to lure Nabil Fekir to the Premier League in the summer.

The boss rejuvenated his attack during the January transfer window with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan coming in for Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez.

Not only that, Fekir has taken over the captaincy with the club losing both Maxime Gonalons and vice-captain Alexandre Lacazette.

The Daily Mail claims that Wenger has identified Fekir as his primary summer transfer target, and is prepared to pay £45 million to bring the France worldwide to north London.

Wenger reportedly wants to complete a deal for Fekir before he reports for World Cup duty, in order to prevent a bidding war and skyrocketing price tags if he does well in Russian Federation. The Frenchman is after-all a Wenger-esque player with a delightful cocktail of vision, technique and finishing prowess.

'After that there is England: Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal.
