Just days after teasing a new album, Janelle Monáe is back with not one but two new songs.

Last week, Janelle Monáe surprised fans with the announcement that she will soon release a new album titled Dirty Computer. "We gave you life, we gave you birth / We gave you God, we gave you Earth / Within the future, don't make it worse", Monáe sings amongst other insane good lines supporting a femme future.

The second track is the free-flowing Django Jane, which echoes Janelle's talents for cutting raps previously seen on single Q.U.E.E.N and the orchestral strings on Sincerely Jane.

Dirty Computer will be released on April 27th, but fans can catch that teaser video on the big screen. Watch the video for the song, which was co-written with Julia Michaels, below.

Speaking with Lowe, Monáe said of the album, "I actually had this title on this concept before my first album The ArchAndroid, and it scared me because a lot of the things that I knew that I needed to say were very deep, very personal, from the heart".

"This is an extremely vulnerable album and it took me a while to make it because I'm a self editor".

Aside from Oscar-winning films, Monae has also recently starred in an adaptation of Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams and will also feature in The Women Of Marwen by Robert Zemeckis.
