It features a full-screen design and a display with the aspect ratio of 18:9. It is expected to be the first smartphone to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 chipset, incorporate a fingerprint sensor in the screen and use the high-end ISOCELL sensors in its cameras.

Apart from these two phones, the company is also said to launch the Nokia 4, Nokia 7, Nokia 8 (2018) and the 4G LTE-enabled model of the Nokia 3310 feature phone. Some of the reports have also hinted that the Nokia 8 Pro could be an out and out smartphone meant for photography lovers geared with Penta-lens.

In terms of rumoured specifications, the Galaxy S9 would feature a 5.8-inch Infinity display, along with 12MP and 16MP dual cameras to the front and rear. The capacity of RAM will be from 6 to 8 GB and internal - from 64 to 128 GB. Both series are due for their minor annual refreshes, with the MateBook X getting lauded last summer for its handsome design and powerful internals, while the MediaPad lineup is one of the few Android-based tablets we'd recommend these days. The image comes from a comment by "Grisha" in a post about Sony's MWC video tease. Here's also hoping that Sony finds a way to bring a fingerprint sensor to this year's flagship, as it did for its mid-range products back at CES.

It's not too much of a loss either way since HMD Global already provides a near-stock version of Android in its phones with dedicated updates for at least 2 years.

There are also a few renders of the Nokia 8 Pro that were leaked earlier this month. Certain firmware files are suggesting that the new smartphone might pack in a Sony IMX363 sensor as well.

Lenovo-owned Motorola will most likely launch three new smartphone during the Mobile World Congress - Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus.

Motorola unveiled the highly-regarded Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus at last year's MWC, and we're expecting something similar from them this year. There might be a 5MP selfie snapper on the front.
