Cardiff City were once again the big winners in the Championship this weekend as they defeated Bristol City 1-0 at the Cardiff City stadium to cement second spot and maintain the pressure on Wolves above them, and the chasing pack below.

A late Kenneth Zohore strike has given Cardiff City a 1-0 win over Bristol City in Sunday's Championship encounter in South Wales.

Warnock welcomes back Gary Madine, Liam Feeney, Callum Paterson, Joe Bennett and Greg Halford into his starting XI, as he looks to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat to Bristol City at Ashton Gate earlier in the season, but the Bluebirds are one of the form sides in the division, and will fancy their chances of continuing their fine recent run.

Zohore was the intended recipient and the substitute made no mistake in firing into the net from five yards out to give the Bluebirds a fourth consecutive win.

Cardiff have now kept four clean sheets in a row, and Warnock admitted after this latest triumph that his side have reached their pre-season target of 16 shut-outs.

Here, we took a look at exactly what was said by City fans to the defender... "We're nearly in the play-offs now", he added.

"I would have been crying 12 months ago if that had been the case, it shows how far we've come as a squad".

"I think they will be very functional, organised and they have a lot of physical players in their team".

He said: "We're delighted to come out of it with three points".

"It's a hard game but I don't think the atmosphere will not be too intimidating because it's a big stadium which, surprisingly, has had a few empty seats, despite their unbelievable season".
