Here's what we've got so far. On the Samsung Mobile official page, the event link will appear soon!

Samsung, the world's biggest smartphone maker, is set to unveil its new flagship Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, on Sunday evening ahead of the opening of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the industry's largest trade show, amid signs global demand for smartphones may have finally peaked. The high-end variant of the former flagship can be picked up for Rs 37,900, but it is now available in the offline stores with a Paytm cashback offer, Gadgets360 reported. The Galaxy S9 also has something plenty of iPhone X owners wish they had as well: A headphone jack. Both will remain IP68 water and dust resistant and keep the option to add memory via microSD. The handset is powered by Exynos 8890, 4GB RAM and a 3,600mAh battery.

"Samsung and Apple have been nudging the price of flagships upwards, and while this is unlikely to hit appetite too hard, they are creating space in the £400-£600 price range for high-spec underdog devices with what might be, for some, a much more compelling price tag".

One of the most interesting elements of the Snapdragon 845 is its Spectra 280 image signal processor. The second will only start to capture slow-motion video when it detects movement in the frame. The upcoming smartphones are expected to sport similar bezel-less designs of their predecessors with most of the upgrades on the inside. It also has support for dual-SIM connectivity.

The phones will be unveiled at the Unpacked event.

On the front of the phone will be an eight-megapixel camera with an f/1.7 aperture and autofocus - something of a rarity amongst front-facing cameras on smartphones.

Last year, the Galaxy S8 arrived at €799 while the Galaxy S8 Plus cost €899, meaning we could see respective ~€50 and ~€100 increases for the latest models. "Reimagined" tagline that Samsung revealed earlier this month. That means something rather new, which is flawless for annual smartphone upgraders (or someone who didn't like the iPhone X in the end). The pair, like their predecessors, are regular features on the rumor mill. If Samsung can execute on this, it'll be a key differentiator between their hardware/software combination than other Android manufacturers.

Facial recognition is something Apple took the lead on with the iPhone X. While Samsung and others have tried, nothing has come close to the speed of the iPhone. Likely to boot with stock Android based on Android 8.0 Oreo, this smartphone from HMD is said to feature OZO Audio and Bothie photo capture mode as well.
