The new season of "Marvel's Jessica Jones" debuts on International Women's Day, Friday, Mar. 8 on Netflix.

Lead Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) commented that, "Jessica Jones resonated in such a big way because we haven't seen a superhero like this before". "She's nearly afraid of her power", Ritter explains, "and it strikes me that she's anxious that she's going to lose control of herself". "Jessica's strong, she is vulnerable, and despite everything she's been through, she still fights".

Marvel's Jessica Jones on Netflix is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (Twilight, Dexter), Raelle Tucker (True Blood), Jim Chory (Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Luke Cage, Marvel's Iron Fist) and Jeph Loeb (Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Luke Cage, Marvel's Iron Fist) who also serves as Marvel's Head of Television. She said, "all of the characters are asking themselves 'who am I?' and 'how do I fit into the world?'"

We then see Jessica Jones say "I'm angry, and I'm not sure there's anything I won't do anymore", in a series clip.

While the commentary is important, as mentioned, there are several new clips from Jessica Jones season 2. "She wants to be a good person and she tries", Ritter adds, "but she is dealing with her PTSD and her rage issues, as well as anger, isolation and loneliness".
