As the press release reads, the PC release of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on Steam 'ushers in a new way for gamers to play with a variety of control options including optimised Steam Controller support, as well as the ability to play with mouse and keyboard'.

With more than 100 levels to explore, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy fully remastered game offers brand-new lighting, animations, textures, models and recreated cinematics. Since the N. Sane Trilogy was developed by Vicarious Visions, the studio responsible for the PC version of Destiny 2 and all the versions of Skylanders: SuperChargers, we can probably expect well-optimized versions of the game on all platforms. In addition to the original Crash Bandicoot, the compilation will also include Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot: Warped. The original gameplay design was kept intact though, making it quite a nostalgic treat for long-time fans of the franchise.

Check out the official Crash Bandicoot website for more infomation. This means visual features that are otherwise not available for the console or hard for them to sustain such as 4K resolution, a fluid 60+ frames per second (FPS) frame rate and higher resolution textures coupled with the ability to adjust graphical fidelity based on the power of the gaming hardware.

Its success in the market also convinced Activision to release more remastered titles in the future. The last Crash Bandicoot game that was available on an Xbox platform was 10 years ago.

"Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy" definitely had a great run as an exclusive PS4 game.
