Until anything's official, however, a Buffy revival is just a... "People are aware of the show, you don't' have to build awareness". It is fun to remember that, technically, Buffy is now a Disney princess in the aftermath of the Fox/Disney acquisition, but that means the Fox network wouldn't be the default home for it.

Die hard fans of the cult classic television show Buffy The Vampire Slayer have always been hoping for a small screen reboot, and it seems they're not alone.

He added, "It's something we talk about frequently".

"It's something we talk about frequently, and Joss Whedon is really one of the greatest creators we ever worked with", he said. "When Joss decides it's time, we'll do it", Newman explains.

"Reboots aren't actually a focus for us". Admittedly, we chased The X-Files for a while.

According to a March 13 report by Deadline, Newman opened up about the possibility of bringing Buffy The Vampire Slayer back to television.

Whedon's exit from a potential Batgirl film does free up his time to return to work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy had no problem wearing heels or cute dresses to battle. For example, while I do still ship Bangel (Buffy/Angel), there are stalking and power dynamics regarding age that exist within that couple.

'I hope it feels like a good, proper goodbye, because they deserve it, ' says the actress.

Lost Girl, Wynonna Earp, Being Human, Teen Wolf, The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Misfits, Killjoys, The Magicians, and many others have all taken from the Buffy mold. No, but most, if not all of them, try to use some elements of the Buffy model.

"Most times when we brought things back, it started with the creator coming into us and saying I've got another story I want to tell", he said.

A revival of Whedon's landmark '90s supernatural series has been bandied about since the show went off the air in 2003. I'm sure the fans are incredibly disappointed to hear that answer, but I think they'd be more disappointed if we created something and it didn't live up to the expectation because the expectation is so incredibly high. That's what fandom is for.
