"Nany people were asking if Karachi stadium will be renovated on time and I had been ensuring them that it will be done", he said.

"Karachi last hosted an global cricket match in 2009 when Pakistan and Sri Lanka played the first of their three-match Test series at the National Stadium".

Sethi also announced he was in talks with West Indies Cricket for a Twenty20 tri-series in United States.
