The ASUS ZenFone 4 Pro was launched past year in August, and, it ran Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box which was layered with ASUS' ZenUI 4.0 skin atop. However, only three models under the Zenfone 3 line up will be receiving the update - for now at least.

Now, it now looks like the announcement of this smartphone is imminent as it has appeared on Geekbench's databse.

Asus ZenFone 4 Pro is the latest smartphone from the company that is receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update. It also managed to score 1518 points in the single-core test and 5386 points in the multi-core test.

The ZenFone 5 Max was recently discovered on Geekbench and it falls under the mid-range category of the ZenFone 5 devices, coming with a Snapdragon 660 processor and 4GB of RAM. There are two variants of the phone based on internal storage- one with 64GB and other with 128GB.

The Android Oreo update is being pushed out in stages so it might take a while before it reaches your device. It comes with Android 8.0 out of the box, 5.7-inch FHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, which means they are bringing the notch, 3/5mm jack and a Type-C port. That's not all, you will also be blessed (or cursed) with the iPhone X-style screen notch, as seen on the phones launched by ASUS at MWC 2018.
