With four ties still to be completed next week, defending champions Real Madrid, Juventus and runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City have already booked their places in the Champions League quarter-finals.

"We have shown in the past few seasons we can beat all the English clubs".

"I know how the situation is, people are saying that they play a specific kind of football and we play a specific kind of football... everybody makes a big thing of it but it's all about winning".

"Whatever we can do to help, we try to [concerning the Ballon d'Or]", said Klopp at today's news conference.

"Of course I have to think about my footballing future", Can said.

"First of all, we don't need to concede the two goals in the first half; for the rest, it was hard to break them down, they sit and hope for the best on the break", the defender continued.

Despite settling for a goalless draw in an uninspiring last 16, second leg at Anfield, Liverpool eased past Porto 5-0 on aggregate thanks to a comprehensive win in Portugal three weeks ago.

"We have so many fans all over the world who watch us".

"Romelu Lukaku is strong in these challenges, so if you can not avoid the long ball then you have to be there to help your mate for the second ball. We feel we can beat any side on our day, and we don't mind who we get", reckoned the Brazilian who has been instrumental for Liverpool this season. I prefer to not play an English team, but I don't care who. If they win, they'll probably get second, but if Liverpool do I think they'll definitely end up finishing as runners-up. They can drop the ball, literally, sometimes, but play with a vicious team spirit that seems to carry them from match to match. They won the match by destroying the Portuguese team completely.

Jurgen Klopp has made five changes to his Liverpool side for Saturday's huge Premier League clash at Man United, with captain Jordan Henderson named on the bench.
