Nissan launches Remix limited editions of Datsun GO & GO+

The Datsun Go+ MPV shares its underpinnings and mechanicals with the Datsun Go. Christened the "Remix Edition", it is part of the Japanese low-priced brand's affinity towards launching exclusive models of its vehicle fleet in limited numbers.

Datsun India just launched the Datsun GO and GO+ Remix limited edition for Rs 4.21 lakh and Rs 4.99 lakh, respectively (both ex-showroom).

Since arrival, the entry-level redi-Go hatchback has become the top-selling model for the Nissan-owned brand as sales of the Go and Go+ have considerably decreased. There is also a dual-tone Silver paint option for both. Bookings have started for the special edition Go and Go+, which are Rs 9,000 and Rs 6,000 more than their respecitve high-spec T variants.

With new hood and roof wraps, all black interiors and new dual-tone colour combinations, the Remix editions will be available at all Nissan and Datsun dealerships across-India starting today.

The vibrant theme is carried on to the inside as well as the Remix Editions possess identical finishes to stand apart from the standard range.

The interiors of the limited-run models feature a cabin in piano black and new seat covers. The machine is capable of producing 67.06 bhp of power at 5000 rpm with 104 Nm peak torque at 4000 rpm, which is mated to a 5-speed transmission gearbox. Both models have also been launched with follow-me-home-headlamps, powerful AC, speed sensitive electric power steering, AUX and USB charging ports, central locking and front power windows.

Datsun GO measures 3785mm X 1635mm X 1485mm, with 2450mm of wheelbase, 170mm of ground clearance, 265 litres of boot space, and 35 litres of fuel tank capacity.

The Go and Go+ gain some funky new graphics and all-black interiors with these Remix limited editions.

. It will be the flagship model to compete against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, Honda WR-V and the likes.
