Sunny, Warm March Weather

More sunshine and a big temperature bump are coming Wednesday when the temperature is expected to reach 70 degrees. Only eight of those days occurred in the first half of the month.

Today, it will be cloudy through mid-morning, then gradually clearing, with a high today near 49, the weather service said.

Tuesday night, the low will be around 25 with a north northwest wind of 5 to 7 miles per hour, becoming calm in the evening, according to the weather service. A north northwest wind will be around 9 miles per hour. This will lead to a calm stretch of weather during the work-week with rain chances returning for the upcoming weekend.

Monday will be a sunny, warm day, but after that the clouds and rain close in on the north valley. Gusts as high as 16 miles per hour are possible.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 52.

Friday night, there will be a low of 46, according to the weather service.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 62.

Wednesday Night: Clear, with a low around 29.

Low temperatures should be in the 20s through much of the week, with Thursday night's low potentially being 34 degrees.

Friday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers.
