Warhammer: Vermintide 2 released on the 8th of March and to add to its launch, Fatshark have chose to release their roadmap for the upcoming three months.

500,000 units sold in such a short period of time is an impressive feat for any game, let alone a PC exclusive from a smaller developer.

"We are proud and happy that gamers worldwide have taken Warhammer: Vermintide 2 to their hearts", he said.

Since launch, players have apparently killed over 50 billion enemies and spent a total of 204 million minutes watching people stream the game on Twitch.

As the game title says, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a visually stunning and groundbreaking melee action game, bringing a first-person co-op game to another level. Vermintide 2 adds new features to the mix through its improved career mode, new talent trees and the all new "Heroic Deeds" system: a selection of condition-based quests.

Speaking in a press release, Fatshark CEO Martin Wahlund referred to the game's success as a milestone the team hadn't yet anticipated reaching, and expressed pride with regard to player's reactions to the title so far.

Vermintide will come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and we hope this year, although when exactly hasn't been announced.
