The service now has more than 300,000 users, according to a report, and is available in almost 100 markets.

If you've been trying to decide whether or not to subscribe to YouTube TV to have access to various networks on your mobile device or smart TVs, you should do it now as the service is set to increase their monthly fee to $40 from the current $35.

Back in February YouTube TV announced that they are adding new channels but also that they will be raising their price. Five bucks isn't a whole lot of money, but it represents about a 14% price hike and works out to $60 more for the same service over the course of a year. Subscribers who sign up before March 13 (tomorrow!) will still be charged the lower rate, at least for now, Engadget reports. If you just want to have everything available to you, then YouTube TV with its one rate for everything should be a better option.

New YouTube TV subscriptions will cost $40 a month-an additional $5-starting tonight at midnight, PST.

With this price change YouTube TV has added TNT, Adult Swim, TBS, CNN, Cartoon Network, truTV, and Turner Classic Movies.

YouTube TV launched with a wide variety of programming from networks such as ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CW, ESPN, AMC, FX, FXX, Disney Channel (plus Disney Jr. and XD), E!, USA, Bravo, Syfy, MSNBC, Telemundo, Sprout, Freeform, NatGeo and more.
