Selma Blair: 'I was joking about Cameron Diaz's retirement'

Selma Blair has taken to Twitter to clarify that she was joking about those comments.

Earlier this week, Selma was responsible for several headlines announcing Cameron's retirement, following an interview in which she appeared to claim that the actress had turned her back on the acting world.

DON'T expect to see Cameron Diaz on the silver screen any time soon - or possibly even anymore. I would have liked to do a sequel but Cameron's retired from acting. The actor reportedly said, "I had lunch with Cameron the other day".

For now, she seems to be enjoying married life (she Wednesday Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden in 2015), working on books about wellness and aging (her latest came out in 2016) and devoting herself to the causes she believes in (she turned up at the Los Angeles Women's March in January).

That same year, she also starred in "The Other Woman" with Leslie Mann and Kate Upton, as well as the comedy "Sex Tape". I don't know what it would take to bring her back. She has a pretty great life.
