The official Tomb Raider site has changed to a teaser image but the clues are already on the page.

Square Enix released a teaser site for the next Tomb Raider game, and it accidentally reveals numerous game's secrets, including a release date, the date of major reveals and more. Probably an oversight but we're not complaining.

After finishing and launching Rise of the Tomb Raider in 2015, Crystal Dynamics didn't waste any time getting started on Lara Croft's next adventure.

Head to the official Tomb Raider website and you'll see a message promising an announcement on March 15, 2018 at 6am PT. More information, including the various pre-order bonuses and console versions, will be announced on April 27. There are a number of references in the code to "playing a puzzle" as well as level counters. While it hasn't exactly wowed critics, it has earned decent reviews for a video game movie, and looks mostly faithful to the source material, so it will be interesting to see how it does as the box office.

More news as we learn it! Other than an odd dump of some lorem ipsum, it seems we've reached the end.

Square Enix confirmed the development the next game in the Tomb Raider franchise back in December 2017.

Previously, Alicia Vikander asked to comment on the fact that all compare her to Lara Croft, with the heroine, embodied on the screen with Angelina Jolie more than 10 years ago.
