Twitch has announced that Twitch Prime members (that is, Amazon Prime members who've linked their Twitch accounts) will now receive free games every month as part of their subscription, starting Thursday, March 15th.

Launching alongside Superhot and Oxenfree, all eight games from the Indie Amplifier program held by Twitch in February will be made available for free over the next few months starting with the victor, Shadow Tactics.

Setting up free games for subscribers is not new as PlayStation Plus and Humble Monthly already provide similar services. Shifty, and strategy-RPG Tales from Candlekeep: Tomb of Annihilation, with April bringing Telltales' wonderful Tales from the Borderlands, SteamWorld Dig 2, Tokyo 42, Kingsway, and Dubwars.

All eight games from the Indie Amplifier will eventually be given away through the program, and all free games will be yours to keep, even if you cancel your Twitch Prime subscription. The rest of the titles will be released in the following months, in no particular order. This is the first time Amazon and Twitch have used their partnership to hand out games on a regular basis.

That's five games, all available for FREE and yours to keep starting on March 15th! For Twitch Prime users, this looks like a lot of new value to your membership.
