Barack Obama picks Michigan State to win 2018 NCAA Tournament

It's no secret that Barack Obama is a big basketball fan.

Obama has a men's Final Four of Virginia, North Carolina, Villanova and Michigan State. Then he has Michigan State topping Villanova in the national semi finals and Virginia, the tournament's top seed, for the national championship. Unsurprisingly, the longtime Chicago native has Loyola-Chicago knocking off Miami in a 6-11 showdown in the South.

Obama also dropped his bracket for the women's NCAA Tournament as well.

President Donald Trump declined to publicly fill out a bracket last year and it's not clear if he will do one this year.

Beyond a few 7-10 upsets, Obama is sticking with the chalk this year. He has UConn avenging its Final Four loss to Mississippi State a year ago in the title game. On the women's side he selected UConn to defeat Mississippi State in the championship game with the other Final Four selections as Notre Dame and Louisville.

Obama's picks aren't too shocking, but he does have five of the eight SEC men's teams winning their first-round games.

He declined an invitation past year from ESPN to do so on-air, as Obama did during his presidency.
