Warriors Cancel Practice After Steph Curry's 30th Birthday Bash

Curry injured his ankle early last week against the Spurs and has missed the team's two games since then.

The Golden State Warriors are once again sweating on the fitness of superstar Stephen Curry after he suffered another ankle sprain in the opening minutes of a win over the San Antonio Spurs last week.

"I'm very confident in where we're heading", said Golden State Coach Steve Kerr, "but we're in the middle of a tough stretch". When your the Golden State Warriors and you been in three straight finals, how much practice do you really need?

The Warriors who are the defending champions were without their star player Stephen Curry and his absence hurt the Warriors as the Timberwolves played a great game to finish 109-103 at the Target Center.

He was nearly immediately ruled out for Golden State's two-game road trip, and the Warriors dropped both of those games with Curry stuck at home nursing his ankle.

Durant has been held under 20 points just three times in 36 lifetime matchups with the Lakers, averaging 28.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists while shooting 48.2 percent.

"Without Steph there, Quinn is asked to do a lot", observed Kevin Durant. Golden State is now second in the Western Conference, two games behind the Houston Rockets.
