Cagey response from Zidane when asked about links to Neymar

Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane insists he remains focused on his own players, not rumoured transfer target Neymar.

Madrid are now seven points behind Atletico and 15 points behind La Liga leaders and rivals Barcelona.

Real have struggled this season in the league, including a defeat away to newly promoted Girona, who they now face at home on Sunday.

Madrid full-back Dani Carvajal has said he would sign Neymar for the Liga giants, while Casemiro suggested his fellow Brazilian could play in the same team as Cristiano Ronaldo.

PSG coach Unai Emery issued a tired response to the latest questions about the future of 26-year-old at a news conference, suggesting reporters should ask Madrid president Florentino Perez for an update.

"Everyone is entitled to their opinion, if you ask the players, if you ask me about Neymar, he is a very good player, but he is not a Real Madrid player", he said.

The match, to be played on 3-11 April, is a replay of last season's Champions League final, which brought Zidane back-to-back European crowns with a 4-1 win in Cardiff.

"People can say what they want, what the players say and what I say is always the same, that he is a good player but not ours", Zidane told a press conference. They are compatible. What the club does will always depend on factors like this", Zidane said, according to Marca.

"I think if you look at it, it's going to be 50-50".
