Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjana Sanghi working on Hindi adaptation of Hollywood romance

While the makers zeroed in on Sushant Singh Rajput as their leading actor, they have been on a lookout for the leading actress for the longest time. The book launched a genre of itself, about teenagers dealing with serious issues like mental health, diseases and the importance of relationships in ones life. The film stars Shailene Woodley (of Divergent fame) and Ansel Elgort (recently seen in 2017 acclaimed film Baby Driver).

For those of you don't know, The Fault in Our Stars revolves around two cancer-afflicted teens who fall in love with each other, even as they battle the disease that's eating them as well as fears of the looming death lurking around.

Although the protagonists are meant to be teenagers, both movies have cast more mature actors. There were a lot names popping up as to who will romance Sushant Singh Rajput in this romantic drama. All eyes will be on Sanjana, however, as the book is told from her perspective. She was a young and dynamic girl with great energy. I knew instantly that I would love to make a film with her one day. Once "The Fault in Our Stars" script was ready, she fitted right in, the flawless face. "Well, I can't wait to create magic with this talented girl".

To be bankrolled by Fox Star Studios, debutant Mukesh Chhabra's film is a Hindi remake of the 2014 Hollywood film The Fault In Our Stars and the film is all set to go on floors soon.
