For six days, the three "cowardly" thugs who were caught on video beating a helpless autistic man at Square One have been at large and unidentified.

Police in Ontario say they believe that at least one of three men who beat up a man with autism in the greater Toronto area could be from the Lower Mainland.

Police are seeking the public's assistance, especially on the West Coast, to view the footage showing the attack they had released and help identify the suspects responsible for this brutal assault.

As he is adjusting his shoes, a group of three males approach him and begin attacking him on the stairwell.

The 29-year-old victim was repeatedly kicked and punched while he was waiting for a bus Tuesday night.

In a statement to CTV News Toronto, police said they could not provide specific details as to where they got their information, but they "have verified it and it looks to be credible".

The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Warning: The video police have released shows the attack.

"He's pretty upset about the whole situation and he's getting a lot of support from the community and his family, as well, but he's quite upset about what took place". He was wearing a black T-shirt with a red and white Air Jordan logo, black track trousers and black shoes. He has a dark short beard and straight black hair above the ears. He was wearing a black jacket with a grey horizontal stripe across the chest and a grey vertical stripe along the hood, black track trousers and black shoes.

The second is clean shaven, and the third has a medium build and is being described as unshaven by police. He is wearing a black hoodie with a Nike logo on the front and Nike lettering along the sleeves with black track trousers and black shoes. Police believe the suspects left the scene in a vehicle.
