Today, the company revealed that the Marvel-themed lands have been confirmed for California's Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris and Disneyland Hong Kong. Disney said the new attractions have been developed in partnership with Marvel Studios and Marvel Themed Entertainment.

The Marvel area at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, will be centered around Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, which opened a year ago, in the nearby space occupied by "It's Tough to Be a Bug", which closed Monday. It will feature Spider-Man and the Avengers. (The "It's Tough to Be a Bug" attraction closed earlier this week, with the rest of the land to shutter in the summer.) There's not too much information about what will actually be coming to the park yet, other than the fact that Spider-Man and the Avengers characters will be involved - something that Disney has been hinting at with in-park easter eggs since the Mission Breakout! ride opened.

Disneyland Paris will be getting its own Marvel-themed area, with an attraction featuring Iron Man and other Avengers in 2020, as well as a new live-action show this summer as a part of Marvel Summer of Super Heroes. Hong Kong Disneyland's Marvel-themed area will allow visitors to team up with Ant-Man and the Wasp, which will join that resort's Iron Man Experience.

This will come after the launch of a new experience this summer, when Disneyland Paris hosts the Marvel Summer of Super Heroes from June 10-Sept. 30.

Hong Kong Disneyland's expansion will take also course over multiple years.

Will you be visiting any of the theme parks?
