After its somewhat lacklustre Occupy and Bunker series one-two punch last week, GTA Online has unveiled the Southern San Andreas Sports Series.

Though Grand Theft Auto 5 and its counterpart GTA Online released years ago, Rockstar Games is continuing to add new content and challenges to the latter.

Kicking things off is the first of two new Racing Modes called The Hotring Circuit, made specifically for one of the latest vehicles to hit Legendary Motorsport, the Hotring Sabre. Alongside the Sabre comes two new Super cars, the Overflod Entity XXR and the Cheval Taipan.

Circling back to what's new this week, the developer has dropped a new Racing Modes: Hotring Circuit. Tailor made for the latest auto to hit Legendary Motorsport, the Hotring Sabre, this new mode allows for up to 30 players and rewards double GTA$ and RP until March 26. While the Vulcar Fagaloa reimagines a station wagon and offers an abundance of customization options such as modifications to the interior and Vapid GB200 is a highly customizable sports auto with a mid-engine four-wheel drive.

Not your typical family wagon.

The GTA Online San Andreas Super Sports Series Update is now live. The update also adds more new Super Cars, including the Overflod Entity XXR and the Cheval Taipan, as well as new Legendary Motorsport additions The Vulcar Fagaloa station wagon and the rally-inspired four-wheel drive Vapid GB200. In Target Mode, eight teams of 2 players against each other in a chaotic (and violent) race.

The ultimate playground for wheelmen and sharpshooters alike, Target Assault demands a mastery of both. 1st May will also see new Special Vehicle Races featuring The Doomsday Heist vehicles, including Deluxo, Stromberg and Thruster. You can take a look at all of this week's new vehicles in the gallery below. Finally, seven new Transform Races will be available on May 29 - featuring a fresh batch of vehicles and vehicles to sink your teeth into.
