The inclusion of renowned televangelist Aamir Liaquat Hussain in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has sent shock waves across the already crumbling political force, with a plethora of ideological supporters bidding farewell to the Imran Khan-led party. "I fear that reptiles surround him".

Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, who a few days ago hosted a TV show against PTI Chairman Imran Khan for his marriage during Ida'at, on Monday joined PTI.

Responding to the press conference, Salman had hurled abuse at Liaquat and said that is his "democratic right to warn" Imran Khan against Liaquat.

After this announcement was made, some staunch PTI supporters openly voiced their dismay over this news and some even said that they would be quitting the party.

Adil Ansari, a part of the social media team of PTI said, this was "not the PTI I joined" and "with Aamir Liaquat types joining PTI, I don't see light at the end of the tunnel".

Dr Liaquat was formerly associated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQMP) and announced to quit the party as well as politics past year following a brief detention by Pakistan Rangers over anti-Pakistan tirade of party founder.
