Ant McPartlin expected to plead guilty to drink driving in court today

Ant has stepped away from all of his television roles since the accident in March, however, prerecorded episodes of Britain's Got Talent that Ant featured in will air as planned.

Ant McPartlin is expected to "plead guilty" as he faces court today for a drink driving charge.

ITV confirmed this week that Dec will be hosting the live shows solo after he presented the final two episodes of the duo's Saturday Night Takeaway without his TV partner of nearly 30 years.

The incredible trick prompted Ant and Dec ran out from the side of the stage to press the golden buzzer, sending Spelmann straight through to the live semi-finals.

The first episode of the new series aired over the weekend and fans of the TV duo were delighted to see Ant and Dec on screen together after Dec finished out the latest season of Saturday Night Takeaway on his own.

Marc Spelmann left the viewers and BGT judges moved by his performance, and even reduced Ant McPartlin to tears backstage.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Holly wrote, "So...finally I get to tell you about something I've been working on passionately and secretly for a long time..."

Holden will be seen growing emotional when a choir raising awareness of blood donation auditions, because the issue is so important to her after she haemorrhaged during childbirth.

The 42-year-old Saturday Night Takeaway presenter is due at Wimbledon Magistrates Court on the morning of Monday 16 April.

He was charged with drink driving on the 21st of March.
