Apple releases second tvOS 11.4 beta for developers

Following the initial beta release of iOS 11.4 at the beginning of the month, Apple today has rolled-out iOS 11.4 beta 2 to registered developers alongside new tvOS 11.4, and watchOS 4.3.1 beta updates. The iOS 11.4 is tipped to have the features that were omitted from the earlier version of the first iOS 11 build, particularly the AirPlay 2 and Messages in Cloud.

In iOS 11.4, Apple brings back iMessage in the Cloud, a feature that was initially previewed in iOS 11.3 but removed before the update could reach the public. New in iOS 11.4 ● Messages in iCloud iOS 11.4 beta includes Messages in iCloud for testing and evaluation purposes.

We're now digging through the latest iOS 11.4 beta 2 release to find any new hidden features. Anyone already on the developer beta channel can go to Settings- General- Software Update, and you should be prompted to download and install the update.

When the user removes a message in a conversation using one Apple device, the same message will also be deleted other device platforms, like the iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. Those are two big features that were missing from the HomePod at launch, but which Apple promised to make available via software updates as soon as possible.
