Dembele joined the Catalan giants last summer from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund for a transfer fee of €105 million, plus a reported €40m in add-ons. "I'm not going to leave after a season", Dembele told press on Monday. 'I signed a five-year contract with Barcelona.

The France worldwide joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in last summer's transfer window, with the attacker reportedly becoming the world's second most expensive footballer behind Neymar.

"I've worked very hard on my fitness the past few months, I have spent a lot of time in the gym because I am getting exhausted very quickly".

"I'm not in my best form, but little by little, it's coming back". I'm working on my cardio, because I get exhausted very quickly.

"Now I'm living in Barcelona, I have a much better lifestyle than what I lived in Dortmund", said the France worldwide.

Dembele has managed one goal and seven assists in 17 appearances for Barcelona since his arrival from German football.

Dembele will be hoping to make an impact for Barcelona before the season is up in order to prove to those in the national team set up that he is worthy of a World Cup place in the summer. "At Dortmund, I didn't have a great lifestyle and I didn't get injured, so it's not that". That loss ruled Dembele and his teammates out of the competition.
