The lovebirds had also selected Geneva in Switzerland as their wedding destination but now that plan has got shelved as two will tie the knot in Mumbai itself. It was reported that rehearsals for the ceremony have already started with close family and friends. The doting dad and mom Sunita will be putting together a special act for the bride-to be at the sangeet.

Since South Bombay would be too far for the families as well as the guests from Delhi, Sonam and her mother, Sunita, want to finalise a suburban hotel, preferably in Bandra or Juhu (where the Kapoors also reside) for ease in reaching the venue.

Last week, Farah Khan directed Sonam Kapoor along with co-stars Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania as well as rapper Badshah, for a song titled Tareefan in her home production, Veere Di Wedding. It would have been hard for the senior members of the extended family, who are expected to attend all the ceremonies, to fly to Switzerland, " a source told Stardust. "The dancing troupe will be performing on her hit songs like Veer Di Wedding's title track, Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai from the Fawad Khan co-starrer Khoobsurat, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo title track, and Dheere Dheere from her music video with Hrithik Roshan, among others, besides other popular wedding songs".

The rumours of Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor tying the knot with her beau Anand Ahuja have been doing the rounds for quite some time now.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Farah Khan has been given the responsibility of choreographing the songs for the high-profile Bollywood wedding. Over the years, Anil has danced to many hit numbers choreographed by her. Sonam is surely giving us summer vibes in the outfit. It's indeed going to be the biggest wedding of this year. Earlier there were reports of Sonam-Anand keen on having a destination wedding just like Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli in December 2017.
