Liverpool ace Salah wants Champions League more than individual accolades

Salah, in his first season at Anfield, became the first Liverpool player since Ian Rush in 1986-87 to reach the 40-goal mark and only the third from the club to reach that landmark after Rush and 1966 England World Cup victor Roger Hunt.

"What a number we've scored as a team over the whole season", added Klopp, whose side host Roma in the Champions League semi-final first leg on April 24.

Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah has revealed that he would value the Champions League winners medal more than any individual prize.

Although Salah stated he would rather win the Champions League, he still has his eyes on winning both accolades, with Salah admitting that winning the Golden Boot is still on his mind.

After the adrenaline rush of completing a 5-1 aggregate win over Premier League leaders Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday there was a danger that the visit of Eddie Howe┬┤s Bournemouth might be an anti-climax.

"Liverpool then have a home game against Stoke and I would encourage Klopp to rest his front three for that one and have them ready for what will be a hard game at the Stadio Olympico in Rome". He's the first Liverpool player to achieve this since Ian Rush in the 1980s.

Salah continued his goal-scoring form and has become one of the only eight players to score 30 goals in a single PL season. That's not me just being a rose-tinted Liverpool idiot (though yeah, I'm that too), that's a striker recognising class in front of goal.

In the 69th minute, youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold picked the run of the Egypt worldwide with a lovely cross and the diminutive forward converted past Asmir Begovic with his head. "That's really good but we have to carry on, there are a few games to come". I can not lie - it is in my mind. I will try my best to score again and help the team.

It is a great feeling, of course it is a great feeling, but in the end I am just happy to score and help the team.

"I am also sure that Tottenham's players try to help Harry Kane and also Manchester City's try to help Sergio Aguero".
