Will it be the player who has disappointed for much of the season, or the one who lived up to his £89 million price tag for once with a match-changing second-half display against Manchester City last weekend.

United had the opportunity to prolong City's wait to secure title glory by another week when they took on West Brom this afternoon.

"If you ask me about respect, I say it is about honesty", he said.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's visit of West Brom, where United need to avoid defeat to prevent their bitter rivals City from being mathematically crowned champions, Mourinho issued a challenge to former world-record transfer Pogba.

Speaking after the win over Tottenham, Guardiola admitted winning the title in England would be one of the greatest achievements of his glittering career. "Probably because I won eight championships, I was not in the moon with the victory against them [City]. You can not say that Manchester City won the title because Manchester United lost a game". 'We were deservedly punished, ' he said.

Guardiola's team has lost only two league games this season and if they win their remaining five games would end the campaign with 102 points.

Manchester City's timing of clinching the title with four games to spare, is one game short of equalling United's record, and two away from being the first team in Premier League history to clinch the title with six games left.

Jose Mourinho slammed Pogba and his team-mates after the game, insisting they preferred to show off rather than play any real football.

However, when questioned on how City compare to his Chelsea team which won the league a couple of years ago, Mourinho was reluctant to comment.

Mourinho and United still has a chance of wining a trophy this season - the FA Cup - and on Saturday face Spurs at Wembley stadium in the semifinals of the tournament. I have been lucky to win three but so many I have missed as well.

"We couldn't play fast, we couldn't think fast, everything was complicated", he said. That's Liverpooling more than Liverpool have ever Liverpooled this season.

"You win titles with consistency at every level, not just the performance level but the mental level and the day by day".

"We just keep fighting one game at a time", he added.
