R. Kelly's Team Quits Amid Latest Allegations

White it may be unknown why Kutti, Mensch and Copeland made a decision to sever their ties with R. Kelly, the troubled singer is at the center of a new allegation regarding his supposed "sex cult". The singer's team, however, just got a whole lot smaller.

According to the BBC, Diana Copeland, who served as Kelly's executive assistant for over a decade, has resigned, while entertainment attorney Linda Mensch quit in February, although she insists their split had nothing to do with the 51-year-old's personal life.

Kelly has faced a multitude of sexual misconduct allegations over the years, but they've seem to have come to a head recently after several women shed new details on the singer's private life. His publicist, Trevian Kutti, told Rolling Stone that "effective April 16, 2018, I no longer represent Mr. Robert Kelly".

Those still within R Kelly's inner circle are reportedly attempting to contact major players in the PR world to find the singer representation, although two of the big companies are said to have turned him down. First, a new accusation by a Texas woman, alleging Kelly knowingly gave her an STI and tried to induct her into his Atlanta "sex cult" when she was only 19.

She believes some of the girls in the "sex dungeon" were underage, and talked about an encounter with R Kelly where he told her that he had been "training" one of the girls from the age of 14 to be one of his "pets".

I highlighted one particular allegation, from his former girlfriend Kitti Jones: she claimed R Kelly groomed a girl from the age of 14.

The documentary is an intriguing and ultimately disgusting view of a man who has not only been one of the most successful r'n'b singers of recent times, but also hurt and damaged so many young girls on his way to the top.
