The Yaris is a rival to petrol variants of the Honda City (Rs 8.71- 13.70 lakh), Maruti Suzuki Ciaz (Rs 7.83-10.63 lakh), Hyundai Verna (Rs 7.99-12.56 lakh), Volkswagen Vento (Rs 8.19-12.49 lakh) and Skoda Rapid (Rs 8.36-12.21 lakh) (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The prices you see on this page are introductory and are subject to revision in the coming months. Interested buyers can book the upcoming 2018 Toyota Yaris sedan with a token amount of Rs. 50,000. The vehicle will compete against the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and Honda City in the Indian market. Comfort- and convenience-enhancing features include High Solar Energy Absorbing (HSEA), IR cut, Acoustic & Vibration Control Glass, Power Driver Seat, Roof mounted air vents, ambient illumination for rear passengers, and keyless entry and push-button start/stop.

Tyre pressure monitoring system, ABS+EBD, traction control, ESP, hill hold assist, front and rear proximity sensors, cruise control and a reverse parking camera are the various other safety features on the vehicle.

It's clear that price of the Yaris is slightly at a premium side, but there's also no doubt about the fact that the image of Toyota as most efficient, dependable and powerful engine carmaker will drive the sales. All the four variants get CVT and manual transmission options.

The Yaris was unveiled at the Auto expo 2018, and is available in four different variants―J, G, V and VX―with CVT and manual transmission options.
