Oppo A83 2018 launched with 5.7-inch display, 64GB native storage

The Oppo A83 features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.

It is powered by a 2.5GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio P23 Processor with 4GB of RAM. The all new Oppo 183 (2018) is now official in the country for Rs. 15,990. It comes in Red, Blue and Gold colors. Now the company has launched an upgraded variant of the smartphone with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for Rs 15,990.

"We hope that the A83 2018 with its wonderful AI technology, upgraded storage, better performance and unbelievable color options will help our young consumers click fantastic memories with friends and family", he added further.

For storing content, the Oppo A83 (2018) has 64GB of inbuilt storage (Oppo A83 has 32GB inbuilt storage) that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).


OPPO A83 (2018) runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with a layer of ColorOS 3.2 UI. The phone also sports a single camera on the back which a 13MP sensor with LED Flash and there is also an 8MP sensor on the front for selfies. It is juiced up by a 3,180mAh battery.

Set to launch in early May, the Oppo F7 is expected to advance the second iteration technology having the second-generation AI Camera - with three main upgrades: Smarter AI recognition, smarter AI beautification and AI leaning with some new features including Vivid Mode and AR Stickers.

This dual-SIM smartphone also comes with facial unlock feature, which is touted to be pretty fast by the company.

It connectivity options include 4G VoLTE 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. The device measures 150.50×73.10×7.70mm and weighs 143 grams.
