Riggs was a dream role and the experience will live with me forever. Starring opposite Damon Wayans on the high-profile remake sent Crawford into a whole new stratosphere.

Alabama actor Clayne Crawford, recently fired from the Fox TV series "Lethal Weapon," has been replaced by Seann William Scott of "American Pie" fame.

As for Crawford's reaction to the firing, he has expressed gratitude for all the fan report he has received in recent weeks. With Crawford officially out of the picture, here's a look back at the major events that led to his ouster.

Crawford had previously defended himself when reports of bad behavior on set surfaced. Fox never had the option to renew the series with Crawford attached. "The first reprimand was because I reacted with anger over working conditions that did not feel safe or conducive to good work under the leadership of a guest director and assistant director, who, in turn, were angry at my response".

Crawford took to social media on Sunday to address his dismissal from the drama after Warners confirmed he would not be returning. That night, "Lethal Weapon's" second season ends with Crawford's character bleeding out over his dead wife's grave after being shot, further putting his series into question. He also tagged Clayne's account and wrote #NoApology. "I take duty for the incident as a result of I used to be in command of the set". "There's a lot to say". Within the hashtag, Wayans included the episode during which he sustained the harm was directed by Crawford.

Wayans, 57, made the allegations on Twitter Monday night time after the Fox sequence was renewed for a 3rd season and Crawford's alternative introduced.

UPDATED with more tweets: Damon Wayans has shared additional tweets in regards to Clayne Crawford's on-set behavior, saying that Crawford has a "file of infractions". "To my cast and crew - CONGRATULATIONS on season 3!"

"It wasn't our choice", Fox chairman Dana Walden previously said in a conference call. However, Newman is optimistic and points to other shows that went through similar shake-ups early in their runs, such as "NYPD Blue".

Within the video, one thing explodes behind Wayans and the actor is seen ducking along with his face twisted in ache as he clutches his head. In a follow-up tweet, he posts a photo of a bloody cut he suffered from the explosion.

It was reported last week that Clayne Crawford was sacked from Lethal Weapon after two seasons of playing Martin Riggs, after allegations surfaced that revealed the actor was creating a hostile working environment and being emotionally abusive. One of the petitions, posted on, has 1,500 supporters.
